The Woodlands at Furman, a university-based retirement community affiliated with Furman University, in Greenville, S.C., recently broke ground on a $22m expansion project to their existing 50 acre campus.
The first phase of the project, a 13,000-square-foot space with a wellness center, therapy pool, massage room, locker rooms, and a full-service salon, was completed in September 2020. A following phase will add 44 independent living apartments and expand and renovate the dining facilities.
Dallas-based architecture firm Three Arch served as the Design Architect and Architect of Record for the expansion. Radium Architecture served as the Associate Architect.
