Benjamin Ward, AIA, LEED AP bd+c is an architect with 13 years of healthcare experience. He graduated from Clemson University with a BS in Design and NC State with a Masters of Architecture.
His healthcare experience ranges from medical office spaces to larger scale surgical pavilions. His recent focus has been free-standing emergency departments and mental health facilities. Prior to his healthcare experience, Ben had experience in hospitality, education, and commercial projects.
His commitment is to planning and communication with all team members to ensure successful project delivery. Ben advocates for resilience in the built environment to ensure both clients and the broader community cannot only withstand but thrive in a changing climate.
Ben served as AIA South Carolina President in 2022 and is a recipient of the national AIA Young Architects Award.
When he’s away from the office, Ben enjoys spending time with his wife, Johanna, and two kids, Jackson and Hollis. They love being in the outdoors of the upstate and cheering on the Clemson Tigers.
